From Union Station:
-Hop on the subway train going Northbound to Downsview(Very important because both sides are northbound. Don't board the one going to Finch)
-Get off at Lawrence West Station
-Make your way to the bus platform
-Get on the Malton 58 bus
-Get off in front of the Toronto Congress Centre

If you can't find the TTC from Union Station, don't be afraid to ask somebody. It's better than wandering around lost for who knows how long.

From Finch Station:
-Hop on the subway train, it only goes in one direction which is southbound
-Get off at Lawrence Station
-Make your way to the bus platform
-Get on the Lawrence bus headed toward Lawrence West Station
-Get on the Malton 58 bus
-Get off in front of the Toronto Congress Centre

From Kennedy Station:
-Hop on the subway train, it only goes in one direction which is westbound
-Get off at St.George Station
-Switch to the Northbound Yonge subway line (you have to head up)
-Get off at Lawrence West station
-Make your way to the bus platform
-Get on the Malton 58 bus
-Get off in front of the Toronto Congress Centre

**From Lauscho
"From anywhere north of the Convention by Greyhound (like Sudbury):
- Ask the bus driver to let you off at the Yorkdale GO/Greyhound Station.
- Walk the measly THREE BLOCKS to Lawrence West Station
- Grab the 58 Malton bus which lets you off at the TCC.
And I did things a little differently last year. I got on the Spadina Subway from Union Station, took it up to the transfer point with the Bloor-Danforth subway, rode that west all the way to Kipling Station, then took the Martin Grove bus all the way up to Dixon Road. Perfect for anyone who needs to go to Holiday Inn!"

The Malton 58 bus takes you right outside the Centre. If you're unsure of when to get off, keep your eyes out for a lot of cosplayers. Also, most of the people on that bus will also be on their way to Anime North, so just follow them.
If this is your first time, I hope this helps. I know how hard it can be to find your way to Anime North especially if this is your first time in Toronto.

If you're from out of Toronto, and will be arriving at Union Station, the TTC is connected to the station.

First Anime North? I have a guide for you.

These are the directions from the Toronto Congress Centre website.

Thanks for the info from :iconlauscho:!

okay I know anime north isn't for about 10 months now, but because im going in 2010, I decided on getting directions together (and it will be my first time), so I was wondering if you could tell me the directions from Anime North back to the Union Station?????
because since I live in Windsor, im taking a train, and since this will be my first actual trip to Toronto im taking the train)

Um....you pretty much just back-track from the centre....

the bus stop is right in front of the double tree hotel, next to the cross-walk that takes you to the centre.

you board the malton 58 back to the subway station, go down into the subway and take the subway train going southbound until you get to union station.

also, just so you know, I'll be updating all my guide information for next year around January, so check back for more info!

PS. Windsor must be SOO warm right now <3

okay i have a question about your directions
a) how can you go south if your at union. you have to pick the side of the yellow line you want. once your at union you cant go any more south on the subway or the ttc.
Correction: pick the spadina side at union at the subway level
b)from yorkdale on gray hound: why would you walk the 3 blocks with all your luggage, costumes and props when 1) you still have to pay to get on the sub way to take the bus, 2)you can get on the subway from yorkdale at the same price. 3) at what point do you get the bus? at the station or on route?
correction: just get on at yorkdale taking the south bound train (right hand side)

a)when you're at union station, you go westbound and on the spadina line, yes. but at the actual station, they'll only have "northbound" and "southbound" lines. the southbound line is the spadina line

b)The yorkdale information is posted by :iconlauscho: I'm pretty sure I made clear of that.
